Barefoot Luxury on the Edge of the Pacific

Really cool place to spend some time in to relax. You feel very removed from everything which is exactly what we needed! Room is super comfortable and modern, the pool is great and overlooks the beach. The beach itself is maybe one min walk?! Also they have a private chef and we had the poke bowls one day which were so good, really fresh and delicious flavours. I would say this place is on the expensive side but great as a treat for 3/4 days.

The positives: The views - stunning! tea selection at the self-serve bar - awesome, clean drinking water and ice! comfortable bed, access to the beach, very quick laundry!, quiet at night, neighboring beach (20 min walk) is really nice and empty; easy arrival, thanks to co-host Frania. Unfortunately, the overall vibe was quite off during our stay, where I would give it 3.5 overall pleasantness/comfort. Construction next door starts at 7am, the room blocks an impressive amount of noise, but is not magical. There is a lot of ongoing construction on that beach in general and the beach is quite busy (but not so, if you are used to Waikiki or some other overbuilt beach/city atmosphere, where you and neighbors see/hear each other's balcony party/family drama)... Unlike many other guests, we unfortunately didn't find Ali very friendly, a few times I asked for pointers on surfing and the road, I felt I was putting him out... There were occasional glimpses of friendliness, helpfulness and even kindness, but the impression was that he was either done hosting or maybe very affected by his recent injury, as "don't bother me" attitude was swiftly back. Ali was almost always at the common/pool area, when we were using it... Frania, was nice to us the whole time.

Great place, great host, will definitely return when in Nicaragua!

This is one of the best place in Remanso Beach!|The hosts Ali & Frania were amazing! Their house is gorgeous and the most perfect view both from the rooms and the pool. They have in house massages and a chef available to cook lunch and dinner. Breakfast was delicious as well. I would definitely come back! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Our stay at Flamingo Experience was truly unforgettable. The house is absolutely stunning, the location is perfect, and everything felt very personal and thoughtfully curated from the moment we arrived. Having a private chef with such incredible food made the experience even more special, every meal was amazing. The hosts are wonderful people who genuinely care about creating a beautiful experience for their guests, and you can feel that in every detail. Waking up to the ocean, surfing in Remanso, and coming back to such a peaceful and beautiful place made this one of our favorite trips ever. We already can’t wait to come back.

Dieser Ort ist unglaublich toll! Die Aussicht, das Zimmer und das Essen waren fantastisch. Besser geht es nicht! Der Strand ist 1 Minute entfernt und man kann easy Surf Lessons buchen oder ein Brett mieten. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!
