The Flamingo Experience was unforgettable. The views were perfect, the breakfast was delicious, and the host was amazing. At one point the host joked about singing karaoke and offering ear plugs, which says a lot about the fun and easy vibe here. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying at a rental.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The accommodations were spotless and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the hosts were attentive and helpful. Every detail made our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would love To stay again in Nicaragua 🇳🇮!!!! Ali is the best!! We have been to different places in Nicaragua. We have to say, this was definitely the best. Surf in front of the house, amazing sunset, very nice hosts, good atmosphere to also just hang around. Nice restaurants at the beach (2min walk). Rooms are big and perfectly furnished. A big plus to have a car tho, so you can go to San Juan del sur in just 10 min drive.

We enjoyed an unforgettable stay at the Flamingo Experience! It's run by a super friendly American-Nicaraguan couple, Ali and Frania, who live there with their seven adorable dogs (those are outside most of the time). We booked two rooms for two couples, and both rooms had an amazing view of Playa Remanso. We loved everything about our stay: the beautiful rooms, personalized breakfast, elegant pool, and the perfect seaside location. Ali and Frania are lovely people as well, and fun to be around. If you're looking for a relaxing beach escape in Nicaragua, we can't recommend The Flamingo Experience enough!

My fiancée and I stayed here for 10 nights as we absolutely loved it. Ali is a great host, so you will feel right at home instantly, and the views are even better than the pictures. Plus you can go surfing right on the beach, and enjoy drinks at the local shacks on the beach. Well worth a stay!

We stayed at the Flamingo experience for a week and it is just an amazing experience. We've stayed at nice places in Costa Rica, Bali, South Africa and all over the world - but this gem hidden in a piece of paradise is at the very top. Ali and Frania are incredible, hospitable hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, well looked after and your stay enjoyable. Their dogs are also very friendly. The roar of the waves crashing on the beach is at your front porch, whether sitting in the wonderful pool or in your room with the amazing view. Here you can surf, ride motorbike, enjoy massages, go bar/restaurant hopping, hiking and more. God willingly we will surely visit again! Come here if you want an adventurous vacation or if you just need to relax and feed your soul, whether alone, with friends or as a romantic getaway. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. From the moment we arrived, Ali and Frania made us feel so welcome—they are truly exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great experience. The space itself was immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was perfect. Just steps from the beach, we had easy access to the ocean, great surf-watching spots, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Whether we were enjoying morning walks along the shore, watching the waves roll in, or grabbing a bite nearby, everything felt effortlessly convenient. And when we wanted to explore further, we were just a short taxi ride from the lively town of San Juan del Sur—perfect for a little extra nightlife, shopping, or adventure. We really appreciated the attention to detail, the warmth and hospitality of the hosts, and the overall peaceful, welcoming vibe of the place. It was the ideal blend of relaxation and connection to the local scene. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located beach getaway hosted by genuinely kind people.
